New Found Inspiration

My mom has been buying Cosmo mags from Aus and US, and in the American one there's a bedroom blog thingy. I've been kinda addicted to it.
You should totally check it out - www.cosmopolitan.com/bedroomblog
So after reading ALL the posts from 2005 to now, I've been feeling like I should start mine up again.

Yesterday was Matt's band (SONOFA) performance. Super cool la. I'd compare it to Groove Armada.
I think they're damn professional and Faisal told me that half of them are.

So, Mitch made plans to go play poker/LAN with the fellas in Hougang. I don't do either so I didn't wanna go plus I needed to shower so bad. Being out the whole day made me stinkayy plus the sun was scorching hot. Perspired like nobody's business. Don't go all disgusted on me cuz I'm only human.

He left the train at Dhoby and I carried on to stop at Raffles. While waiting for the train, I played my DS like I always do.
Weird thing #1: Then this boy sitting next to me started leaning in really close to see what I was playing and all that.
Weird thing #2: He started talking to me.
He looked like he was 10?
Don't kids know they're not supposed to talk to strangers? How come he isn't chaperoned?!

I don't know why I was freaked out. It's not like he's a guy trying to pick me up. He's just a kid. Paranoid much?
I sounded pretty cold when we were talking while waiting for the train. When we got on, I managed to get a seat, he didn't. Then I started feeling bad like, "would it kill me to be friendly to a kid?"
At Bugis (or Kallang was it?), the fella next to me got off and the kid sat next to me.
Then I talked to him. I was nicer this time. Apparently he was getting off at my stop and he stayed at Windy Heights. Big coincidence.

The whole time when he was talking to me on the train, I never took my eyes off my DS. Pretty rude right? I never thought it was until I started thinking about it when I got home. I felt bad again. So I couldn't possibly play and walk home right? This time I looked at him when he talked. He looked like Aloy Ng! haaha
Small slit chink eyes, pretty fair.
I found out a few things about him.
1. He's 13.
2. in Maris Stella.
3. Stays in Windy Heights.
4. Macbook got stolen and his parents refuse to pay for him so he's like saving 10 bucks a week to buy it. (Macbooks are needed if you wanna be a Marist, apparently.)
5. in Boy Scouts. lame. I didn't say that though, instead I asked why he didn't join band? Better way to get girls. He told me they only take the elites. How difficult is it to play an instrument?
6. Talks to strangers occasionally. But only when he decides they look safe and friendly.

We talked til I got to my lift landing. When the lift started going up, I realised we never introduced ourselves. That's okay right? I mean it's not like we're gonna meet again, right?
I feel bad for being rude to this boy 3 times.
-not being friendly while waiting for train,
-not looking at him while talking on the train
-not introducing myself

I still think last night was weird.
